Mudras are yoga for the hands. In yoga practice, we use yoga poses called asanas to improve our well-being. Much like asanas, we can use hand mudras to help clear our mind, improve health, find ease in meditation and cultivate inner peace and tranquility.
These hand gestures send signals to our brain and help to re-program emotional patterns. Each mudra has an individual effect on our mind and body. During meditation they help us to relax and increase our ability to concentrate.
During this workshop we will explore mudras and their different benefits along with the 5 elements of Ayurveda. Then we will cleanse and balance our chakras with specific mudras, mantras and meditations.
