ONE PLANET, ONE HUMANITY, ONE WITH NATURE AND OUR ECOSYSTEM

"As you develop your awareness in nature, you begin to see how we influence all life and how all life influences us. A key and critical feature for us to know." ⊷ Tony Ten Fingers/Wanbli Nata'u, Oglala Lakota

We have a symbiotic relationship with trees and plants. They breathe in the carbon dioxide we give off and we breathe in the oxygen they give off ♲︎ Symbiosis.

The trees are the lungs of the planet and the plants are the tiny air filters and purifiers.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, lungs are the organ of grief. They are also associated with the air element, the Fall, the respiratory system and the color white. Lung 1 acupressure point is known as Letting Go and is a potent point to use to release pent-up emotions including grief. You can locate this point in the intercostal muscles between the first and second rib, six fingers from the middle of the chest. A couple techniques to stimulate this point are:

ACUPRESSURE: Finger Pressure. Press into the point to wake it up and then release to the weight of a nickel.

POWER TAPPING: Acuptapping. Rapid tapping on acupressure points to release energy.

Our planet is processing so much grief right now it’s difficult to bear at times.

George Floyd couldn’t breathe, people affected by Corona virus can’t breathe when the virus hits their lungs, our planet can’t breathe from all of the pollution and the animals, trees, plants and humans can’t breathe with all of the smoke from the rampant fires.

Time to wake up. The rapid rate of destruction of the environment has caught up to us. The racial inequality is at the surface. The devil in the White House has been stirring the caldron with evil, lies and fear for one term too long. People have become sick and tired from living in this dis-ease. Can we go back to our lives, Mr. President? We have work to do.

The time is now. Hug tighter, love deeper, laugh often, support one another, spend time in nature, meditate, gratitude journal, work to heal the environment and vote in November. Change is the only constant in life. Embrace it and learn to ride the ever changing seas of life. We are in this together and we will grow stronger, more resilient and more sustainable. We have got this! We are One.

With Love + Gratitude,
Megan
