This Thursday we welcome the first Full Moon of the year in the sign of Leo that will expand our hearts and bring in the warmth of the sun, courage of the Lion and creativity into our lives.

The first Full Moon of the year, known as the Wolf Full Moon, is an opportunity to release anything from last year that is still lingering. It's like we get to take a big collective exhale and clear our energy in order to make room for fresh beginnings and opportunities that lie ahead. 

This Sunday, the Full Moon peaks in the fiery sign of Aries. Its heated energy drives us to accept what isn't working, let go and forgive.

During this peak the moon joins Chiron, the wounded healer, who finds power, wisdom and gifts in his wounds. It is our wounds where the light enters. Embracing the light and dark aspects of our being is part of the human experience and is what makes us whole. We can choose to learn from our wounds and turn them into our greatest gifts and teachers.

Chiron paired with the Aries energy brings us healing magic when we learn to surrender.

We are also amidst the powerful and mystical Lion's Gate Portal that is active from July 26th-August 12th. Many ancient civilizations tracked the rising of Sirius, believing it was a sacred time of rebirth, renewal, abundance and higher consciousness. Our spiritual Sun, Sirius, rises when our regular Sun is in the sign of Leo giving this period the name Lion's Gate.

August 8th has become known as the peak of this portal because of the numerology 8.8 representing DNA activations and the ability for us to take this freshly risen Sirius energy into our core being. On a deeper level, it is also believed that Sirius can unlock light codes, hidden information and greater spiritual awareness if we are open to this energy. It is common to experience healings and awakenings during this powerful and potent portal.

The Capricorn Super Full Moon peaks on July 13th. There may be outdated thinking and ways of being blocking your path forward. This earthly sign of the Sea-Goat guides you to take an honest and grounded look at your life and release any self-sabotaging ways in order to take responsibility for your life.

The Sea-Goat has the ability to climb to the highest peaks and navigate the depths of the sea giving it a unique perspective of the world and skills to explore the polarities and dualities of life.

It is said that one can only go as high as one can go low. Learning to navigate the seas of life makes us stronger, more resilient and nimble.

Sagittarius, the freedom seeker, encourages us to play, find what sparks joy within and spread our wings.

This Super Full Moon is closer to the Earth, appearing a bit bigger and brighter and basking us with more energy. Over the past month, we have collectively been working through strong transformative energy. Transformation occurs through shedding layers, letting go and taking aligned actions.

Like the butterfly; during transformation, we retreat into the cocoon phase and things can get a bit messy and unorganized in order to come out the other side more aligned with our true essence and purpose.

It is harvest season! This time calls us to cultivate our crops, ideas and projects from the seeds we have sown earlier this year.

The Harvest Moon is the Full Moon that occurs closest to the first day of Autumn which begins on September 22nd.

This Full Moon falls under the zodiac sign, Pisces. This sensitive water sign, ruled by the planet Neptune, is dreamy, creative, magical, mystical, spiritual and other worldly.
