What a heavy past few weeks we have had.
Last week a good friend of mine asked; Why is all of this happening? I replied; This is an eruption of everything that has been broken for a very long time in our young country in order to restructure society where we live in harmony with each other and with Mother Earth. This is not a moment in time; it is a civil rights movement that is taking place around the globe.
Police abuse and misuse of power, systemic racial inequality and injustice and white privilege have all been re-exposed and brought to the surface. Deep wounds and wrong doings are reopening and coming to light to be addressed. Broken systems are going to change. People are uniting, protesting and gathering around the world to advocate for what is right and to have tough and needed conversations on how to create change. Ancestral songs and dances have been shared. We honor your voices and your movement. Now is the time to know that all you do is sacred. #blacklivesmatter
I am here to support the fight to dissolve this system that has been destroying lives and to rebuild a new future where all human beings are treated equally with love, respect and dignity. This is the time where history changes instead of repeating itself.
There has been so much intense energy, pain and grief in our sphere that it is difficult for our minds and bodies to process. Be sure you drink enough water (1/2 your weight in oz per day) and get plenty of rest to integrate and have the mental and physical capacity to continue on; to fight the injustice, support family and friends and the causes that are near and dear to your heart.
Calling in Love, Peace, Justice and Equality for all human beings and all living things.
